Troop 767

Well it is now official, I am a Brownie troop leader. I am so excited that we ended up having enough girls to start our own troop! Anna is so excited she wants me to order her the brown knee socks and beanie to go with her vest and khaki skirt!! She is going to sell a boat load of cookies looking so cute! How can you resist a brownie complete with knee socks, a beanie, and the pig tails!! I am going to have to get used to the extra time away from home though, I am such a home body.

Michael and I have started to talk about another baby. We are thinking about trying for number three in February. I am still debating because he is throwing me a big 30th birthday party in 2010 and I know that I would still be breast feeding if not still prego.

Our kitchen looks so much better but we still have to finish the cabinet doors and the drawers. I hope this will be that last weekend!! I am so sick of the mess and of paint. I would love to look at my kitchen and not see every dish or spice that we have in the cabinets.

This weekend I am being confirmed at our church and I am so excited. After the ceremony we will be having our annual pig roast yummy!! Anna is going to be an acolyte. I am just so thankful that I am at a church that I am so welcomed.

Me and some of the girls from work have decided to do weight watchers. I am actually glad that I am a nursing mother because I have to add an extra 12 points to my daily amount. Monday is the big day for that. Before and after pictures will not be take well the before pictures anyway.
My goal is to lose at least 4 sizes. I will have to lose weight before I decide to toss the birth control, I want to be cute and prego next time!!!!

5 on Tuesday!

I am going to try for 10 but I can't promise anything.
1. To start with I hate painting and I can't wait until it is over and done with. I didn't realize how much of a hub the kitchen is to our family. I miss it so much. I will be posting before and after pics soon.
2. I had my first Girl scouts service unit meeting last night and I loved it. I am so excited about being a girl scout leader. Right now there is a possibility of 20 girls in our troop OMG!!! I can't wait to go camping!
3. I am excited about our high school reunion coming up. I should have plenty of time to plan for a slumber party at Nana's house for the girls. Now I just have to figure out what to wear!!
4. My Grandmother is doing better so I am relieved about that one and my grandfather had to be put in an assisted living home.
5. Pitiful but I haven't anything else to really talk about I am a real home body.
SORRY only 5!

Today is Monday in every sense of the word. I am tired, worn out, and fed up. Michael and I started the kitchen project Saturday and I am so ready for it to be over. The kitchen is a disaster and I just want to clean it but I can't. I have no where to put the clean dishes to get to the few that we have dirtied and there is so much piled on the washer that I can't do laundry right now. Michael said that after today we should be able to put things back in the kitchen but we will have to live with no cabinet doors for a while. I just want to clean the mess up. Thank God I have a handy man that can do it himself so at least we don't have to pay someone to do it for us!!!

Friday

Today is the big Friday! Today we are going to start the kitchen project. I am looking forward to it but I am also looking forward to it being done. I would much rather redo the master bedroom than the kitchen but since Michael does all the cooking I guess I'll live. I have a bit of advice: if you want to test your marriage then remodel your home. God knows I still love him.

Wacky Wednesday!

It was a great weekend but I had to return to normal life sometime.

1 Friday night my mom in law, Anna, and I attended an ice cream social for girl scouts. I have never been a girl scout. Anna decided that she wanted to do. Well Melissa and I decided that we were going to start our own troop and become leaders!! I am so thankful that she has had years of experience with the girl scouts. I am so excited to be getting the opportunity to make a huge impact on my daughters life like this.

2. Scarlet has cut her first tooth!! Thank God that is finally over. I did learn a little secret about the world's best tether (easy and cheap). You take the big bone from the drumstick (chicken leg), of course you have to make sure it is completely cleaned (no gristle etc..). We gave Scarlet one from the BBQ we were having Saturday night and I swear that was the quietest dinner that we had in two weeks time. A miracle!

3. We have decided to remodel our kitchen (not a total remodel). I will have before and after pictures later. I am honestly looking forward to the new colors and lighting.

4. Scarlet was in her first fashion show on Saturday at Babies R Us. No pictures but she was so cute.

5. While I was on my shopping trip Saturday I decided to talk with a lactation consultant about my on going supply problem. I ended up spending money on this horrible tasting herbal supplement that I am taking twice daily. I also have to dink two glasses of Ovaltine and eat 1 pack of oatmeal daily. I feel better about my decision to continue to breast feed (pumping) since returning to work. I am actually considering making my own baby food too.
