The boys are becoming more and more different every day! I think that I would be able to tell them apart now if they were identical. William is very high strung and loves to snuggle and be held. When he gets excited it shows all over his body! Logan on the other hand loves to play and has become the most laid back wait his turn kind of child!
William loves to analyze his hands and his toys (including the barbie that Scarlet gave him over the weekend....he didn't care much for the blond LOL). He has just discovered his feet but prefers his hands and he gets so upset that he can't get the roll from back to tummy thing just right, he tries so hard until he gives up all pissed off.
Logan however loves to play and has rolled over from back to tummy like he has been doing it forever. He actually plays with the toys. Now Scarlet gave him a blond barbie too and the first thing he did NO LIE was stick the boobs in his mouth and suck on them. Yes it is one for their baby book!!!
I after only 5 months I understand how boys can be easier than girls. My girls are a Drama Queen (Anna) and a Diva (Scarlet), the boys are just the boys even if Logan is a boob man.

Baby Update
We went to the doctor for the boys 4 month check and they are growing like weeds! Logan now weighs 15.15 lbs and is 24 inches long. William now weighs 13.10 lbs and is 24 inches long too. It was never in my stars to have small children.
Potty Training!!!!! Scarlet is now on her way to being potty trained. She is doing very well unless she gets busy then she tells us she has to go pee pee after there is a huge puddle in the floor. We are keeping our fingers crossed that she finally gets the hang of it soon. Oh yeah she is a closet pooper. We have to watch her very closely so we can get her to the bathroom, get her on her potty and give her her privacy before she poops in her pants (witch is hard by the way because she gets real quite and hides just before she poops).
Time flies when you are having fun! Anna has started the 5th grade and is quite the fashonista. You know I should have just saved all my crap from the 80's & 90's and I wouldn't have had to buy one stitch of back to school clothing for that girl!! It is absolutely hilarious to see her style and to think back on what we thought was cool at her age! She has started to wear deodorant and training bras, and she wants to start shaving her legs (which we are going to allow next summer).
Well that is about it with the kiddo update! Tootles!

Kidos
Okay I am finally getting around to getting pictures up. I new I would be busy but holly cow the older they get the busier I get! So here they are, pictures of my children (all 4):
Here are the boys they are now almost 3 months old and they are huge!
This one is Logan. At 3 months old he is 12lbs and 2' long! I find that really big considering he was a preemie. He left the hospital at 6lbs and something and 171/2" long.
William is next to Anna and Logan is next to Scarlet (and no Logan doesn't have a mohawk). Anna 10, Scarlet 2, Boys are 2 months in this picture.
Anna's 10th birthday! You really don't realize how fast they grow up. I would advise anyone not to rush it!
This is one of the sweetest pictures of Scarlet and Zeus (one of our dogs). Zeus is her puppy and he likes it.Here are the boys they are now almost 3 months old and they are huge!

This one is William. At 3 months he is 10lbs and 22" long. It is hard to believe that when they were born he was considered the bigger one because he was longer (they weighed the exact same 7lbs 1oz).
Here they all are at the Boys baptism. Evie and Jason are all four's God Parents or as we like to refer to them as Quad Parents.Tuesday, April 20, 2010
Baby update
YAY!!! They are here! I finally have my little men! Their names are Logan Michael Barton and William Reid Barton. They were born on 3/31/10 via c-section at 7:36 & 7:37 am. Logan weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 17 1/2" long and William weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 18" long!!! Yes they were super huge and so was I! My doctor comented on the boys being the 2nd largest twins he had delivered! William spent 4 hours in NICU due to very labored breathing but was then sent to the well baby nursery and they both were able to come home with me! It has been fun learning how to do everything x 2 at about the same time!! I am getting the hang of nursing them at the same time (makes the night time feeding much easier & lets me get a little more sleep). Anna loves being old enough to hold them and walk around with them and Scarlet we still have to keep an eye on because she loves her 2 brothers (a little much at times). Michael is hanling things quite well, a litle nervous about things but hey I am the one that knows the babies aren't going to break if their big "little" sister kisses their eyes multiple time. I seem to have a whole lot more energy this time around but I am thinking it may be because I was so huge and exhausted for so long during the pregnancy that missing the 20 + extra pounds makes me feel mroe entergetic. Time for a nap but I promise that I will have pictures for the next post, but you can always go to H'ville hospital's web site and use the birthdate and last name to see the pictres of them at I beleive 4 days old.

Catch Up
Well I have made it to the end Thank God!! I am so sick of bed rest & it has caused some depression. I went into pre-term labor on the 27th of Feb and spent a week in the hospital. The doctors were finally able to stop the labor but I have been on bed rest since then (4 weeks now). I am having my c-section in 2 days!!!!!! The boys will finally be here on the 31st! We are so excited and so is Anna, Scarlet still is a little clueless but that is to be expected from a 2 year old. I am just as excited about having my tubes tied as I am about having the boys in my arms. Well that is about it for me since I haven't been able to do anything in a month. I will try to get pics up as soon as I can though!

Drs. Apt.
I had a doctors apt. today, I am going every two weeks so it was just another check up. I do however get to have a US every time I go in so it is kind of cool. Well since the beginning of January they are measuring them. I found out today that they went through a growth spurt in the last 2 weeks. They have gained almost 2 lbs each in 2 weeks. Baby A (Logan) is 2lbs 7oz, and Baby B (William) is 2lbs 10 oz. Dr. McMichens says that I could not be having a more perfect multiples pregnancy and should have no problem making it to 36 weeks! At this point belly is measuring at 8 months (if it was a singleton pregnancy).
I asked a question about the amount of pressure that is between my legs (a ton more than with the other 2). Well looking at the US the reason for that is Logan's head is laying right on top of my cervix literally (they had to do a vaginal sonogram just to see and measure my cervix). Good news it is very thick and completely shut no worries, just uncomfortable for me.

30 YEARS OLD
Well I am now 30 years old HOLY CRAP!!!. I didn't think that this birthday would really bother me, in fact I was looking forward to it. I thought finally my thirties, people will look at me as an adult and not a kid. Well I don't feel any older but mentally I am beginning to realize that I am. I am starting to think about all the things that I need to do (weight, skin, babies, etc...) before it gets to late. I can at least blame the unperky boobs on breast feeding 4 kids!!!!

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I had a wonderful time and I got to see my uncle whom I haven't seen in about 4 years...he is still crazy & strange but I love him anyway!
The girls got way to much stuff and now I have to find places to put the stuff, our house is only so big and with 2 on the way we are going to have to get a storage building or add on.
Had my 25 week apt. Monday and the boys look great! They are moving quite a lot now and it is really cool to watch my belly. Looks different than it did with the girls, moves in different places and totally feels different. The lower baby (A) is the one that feels weird, sometimes I think he is going to stick his hand out and wave he moves that low. It does feel strange. I now will be going to the Doc every 2 weeks and they are going to be measured each time. Michael and I think that we are only going to have to wait another 10 weeks or so. I only have 12 weeks to go if I can hold out to full term with twins. The good news is if I can hold out 5 more weeks the survival rate is in the 90% range and the NICU time could be minimal. Please pray that it will be at least 10 weeks.
